The tear down and cleaning of the complex array of parts inherent to filling equipment is a laborious, time consuming process. Some machines require skilled personnel with wrenches,screwdrivers and special tools to access parts for proper cleaning.

The design of some pump head parts make it difficult to verify the true cleanliness of the components prior to re- assembly resulting in potential cross contamination of products.

• All product contact parts are removable for ease of cleaning & sanitation
• Total Contact Parts Isolation: The complete SDS Pump head with the piston in place can be removed from the pump drive for secondary tear down and cleaning functions.

             INTERCHANGEABLE PISTON, PUMP HEAD & NOZZLE ASSEMBLIES:

• The piston assembly is mounted to the pump drive with a unique horseshoe clip which allows the complete pump assembly to be removed from the drive with the piston in place.
• This greatly reduces spills and contamination of the fill zone during teardown & cleaning.
• The piston assembly can be changed in seconds,
• A  variety of O–Ring, Lip Seal, Teflon & Delrin piston seal assemblies are available to suit specific food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and chemical applications.
• Hot fill and molten product pistons available to suit filling syrups and sticky products.
• Heated pump heads & nozzles to suit hot fill or molten product applications
• The SDS pump head utilizes a series of Tri-Clamp Sanitary couplings to enable fast TOOL FREE – TEAR DOWN of the complete pump head.

• In select applications the powerful suction of the SDS Filler can draw products directly fromfloor level storage tanks, IBC Bulk Containers, drums or specialty process/cooking vessels.
• DFD Direct From Drum: Positioned on top of the drum or mounted on the Mobile Floor Stand the compact SDS piston filler will straddle conventional 200 litre plastic or steel drums, to meter fixed volume of product for packaging, batching or process operations.
• All Pneumatic operation with mandatory venting & grounding precautions enables filling volatile or flammable products.
